Responsibilities
The Fund Accountant will:
- Coordinate the month-end close process and review monthly NAV
- Review complex investor allocations / PE style waterfalls
- Prepare and analyze various reports for management, investors, and regulators
- Oversee external administrator
- Oversee the audit and financial statement process and liaise with auditors
- Evaluate and perform various internal control functions
- Complete various special projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-4 years’ experience at a public accounting firm in their financial services business, or direct experience at an asset management firm or fund administrator
- Excellent Excel skills; technically savvy
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and committed to process and related improvements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- CPA and/or CFA
